very nice. Better than the bloody Flying Pickets - but I bet art has the sideburns :)

But - the harmonies were spot on here and the backer was suitably held back. superb job.

5 stars!!

This is really cool. The arrangement has a real '60s pop feel to it. Was always a big fan of this song. A friend and I used to play it 'unplugged' style at coffeehouse gigs. Really like the harmonies and instrumentation.

Your voice here reminds me of Petula Clark for some reason. IMO the harmonies are just a tad too loud. With more practise Art will get there im sure !!!!:notme:

Great stuff though. I remember unclipping a few bra straps to this song :toothless:

Thank you guys , you know Linda kept on badgering me over the level of the Harmonies lol , i kept saying "oh there fine don't worry " , listening today indeed they are too high , but Linda still sung it cool .

Many thanks folks :yourock:

Really enjoyed this. As Porty said, the backer is suitably held back to let your voice come through. You sing it gently without too much force, and it lends itself to gentle nature of this version. Moyet's version as I remember was a louder version. I prefer yours.

I agree the Harmonies are a touch too strong though. 5 Stars from me!

Art, stop monopolizing Linda!!!:toothless:

Great job with guitars and the backing man. A great guitarist dont need to play 1000000 notes to show he is a PRO. You are an example of that. You are showing us that great part of you. Even if we know you can burn the freetboard is great for us you can burn our ears and hearts with those sweet full guitar notes and tones.

Linda, your voice is soooooo warm..... very intonated. And most important: its a beautifull voice. I know many singers wich get high notes but with a nasty voice... Could you please help me sometime with a guilty pleasure and do some "Carpenters" for me? I know you can do it.
In the meantime , ill be sitting here charmed by your voice....

5Stars. Exellent job guys!!:yourock:

Very nice you two.

Been a while since I heard you Linda ... you still sure don't disappoint. You have a beautiful ethereal quality to your voice ... always reminds me of Annie Lennox singing on the "Lord Of The Rings" film trilogy soundtracks.

Great, restrained guitarwork & production too, Art. Yeah, the harmonies were a 'little' forward, but I just think it added to the piece instead of detracting. :)

5. Definitely
