There's lots of software that you can use to make them or you can find lot's of them on-line. You can have a animated avatar as long as it's 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

Well, I tried to go to the site and I found one that I like,..but where do I put the file or how do I get it to my avatar to make it work. I coiped the url and that didn't work, I saved it to my computer and the only thing that shows up is a still picture! What I'm trying to say is, if I find one how do I get it to work?
Please help!
Thank you.

The *.gif file that you saved to your computer has to be viewed in an internet browser like IE or Firefox for it to animate. Don't worry, once you upload it back to GuitarBlast.com it will work.
To change your avatar, you click on "USER CP" which is on the far left handside of this window below the Banner. Then, in the left hand navigation bar, click on "Edit Avatar" (its the 6th option down).
Then using the "Custom avatar" section of the page, locate the avatar you want by bclicking on browse...then upload it and hey presto.... you have your new avatar.
Remember that most avatars are restricted to certain number of pixels but the one's on the avatar sites all conform to the restriction for this site. 80 x x80 pixels.
Good luck.:bitchslap:

I uploaded a good program for this long ago. You can create your avatar, rezize them, import video, whatever you want. I make all of mine with it, including the one I'm using now:)

It seems very easy to use! Thank you. After I get my avatar made with this software,..How do I save it! I really didn't get into the software to look around much but,..do I just save the animation as a .gif? Oh also!,..can I use Photoshop to first make up the pictures for the avatar and then open file in Ulead gif animator? One more thing,..It can only be 19.5kb,..right? That's pretty small:wtf:
Thanks agian for all the pointers!
