Is there a way to edit a post more than once? The edit button is gone on the psot I want to edit.

I think its time limit based, not the number of times you can edit. Is it 15 minutes after posting? Something like that.

You have 30 minutes to edit from the time of a post, however you should be able to remove an attachment any time. If something is that bad you can always PM one of us to fix it for you.

You should be able to click on Edit on your post, then look for Manage Attachments.

Now I deleted the attachment in Wasting away and can't put my new one in. What the hell am i doing wrong. There is no edit button in my post. How can I associate a new attachment to the post?

You can't, it just allows you to clear it so you won't use up your space. I would post it up again in a new post.
