Hey guys, I wentto the VH show last night at the Palace of Auburn Hills and man it was fkin AWESOME!!! They all were great, Dave was great, had the crowd in the palm of his hands, even threw some Rothisms in ( looked at a woman in the front row that was giving him the eye lol, and said "don't stick your tongue out at me.....unless you intend to use it!" and from the way she was looking at ole Diamond Dave she inteneded lol) Al just kicked ass on the drums, beating the shit out of em! Wolfie was awesome, played and sung great ( he even did the break down part in Unchained, Dave looked at him and siad he that suit is you, you'll get some leg tonight for sure, he walked right up to Dave's mic and said dave and Dave looked around and he said Dave again and Dave looked at him with that look of amazement Dave gets loland Wolfie give me a break, Dave with that look of amazement says hey hey hey ON BREAK COMING UP!!) Eddie was just on fire last night, you can tell he has a fire lit under his ass, there was a couple of flubs here and there but he played his ass off and was running and jumping all night, it was the best show I have ever been too, a 11 out of ten for me!:woot: :thumb:

Glad you had a great time there, TopJimmy boy.
After what I've seen and heard, I would have liked to have seen it myself.
They've already lasted longer than I expected them too. So I can only keep my fingers crossed that they manage to keep it together and come true on their promise of a World Tour and new music. I'd chuck the World Tour for some new music myself, just to hear if they could come up with some more Can't Get This Stuff No More / Me Wise Magic gems.
Here's hoping.

But glad that you enjoyed it. I hope that you weren't near any of the bootleggers whooping and awesoming your ass off and hence ruining the recording !

Fuck 'em mate. I go there to sing and scream my ass off too. I had a friend recently that told me she would ask me to shut up if I did it next to her. I told her I'd tell her to fuck off and listen to the CDs at home if she wanted to actually hear the music and leave the concert experience for people who were going to give the crowd some energy and volume.

Sounds like you had an excellent night mate, you really can't beat a live concert, especially if who you saw was on form, which it sounds like they were, glad you had a great night mate, and let us know when you're ears have stopped ringing, thats the only rating system to trust when it comes to concerts  :)

Flippin Eck...that was absolute class! I had planned on going to the Edmonton show in December, but I don't think I can afford the airfare, or even get the time off work. :maddance: It's quite a haul from France with 2 changes. Watching this makes me feel even worse about what I'm missing.
Wolfie seems a very accomplished bass player, Dave is singing very well just like the reviews I've read have said, and Eddie is on fire. Alex looks so much better without the neck brace! Haha.
Glad you had a great time, Jimmy. :boobies:
