I wanted to do my interpretation of this song, not the full cover as it would be 20MB. I obviously prefer my guitar work over my singing but I gave it a try. The sax at the end of the track is tremendous. Maybe I will try to learn sax one day.
Anyways here is my cover of the Floyd classic SOYCD:)
This one is for Syd.:(

I'm prejudice. I love the Strat tone! Great job! I can tell you put alot of work into this. Enjoyed it very much.
No kidding, you nailed the Gilmour tone full on. The vocals aren't too far off either. Love the song and your performance.

nice job mark. you certainly have the gilmore guitar down. excellent job on the guitar. vocal was slightly out of your range but you made up for it with your playing. the parts in your range were good. you were right about the sax. wow.

thank you guys. I knew going into this project that the vox were going to be ambitious. I think if i get some singing lessons I could almost nail this.
That may be my next investment, a few singing lessons.
Believe it or not I used a Standard Squier Strat for the guitar parts.
I recorded my vocals using my new Boss BR600 recorder and just used the pre-set settings for vocals.
That was it really :D

I would do that if I had the guts, haha. I think it could be pretty fun and a great learning experience.

Great rendition!
The track is awesome here Mark!! Guitars sound incredible!!! Nice mix with the backer. I will say though that the vox kind of threw me a little....i know you don't consider yourself a singer, so in that respect it was a ballsy effort, kudos to ya!!! But really would be cool to hear it with a more polished vocal....no offense bro, truly....just my thought. Great job on a whole tho!!!:thumb:
