Hey everyone , as you know were ending towards october into november and xmas isn't really that far of , so ive been thinking about another video jam but obviously for xmas .
Atm im still thinking hard what we can do together on a video jam for this occasion, so ive put up this ideas thread cos well many heads are better then one lol, it also gives me a idea of what some of you would like to try out.
Anyway please share your thoughts and ideas , i will also keep racking my brains aswell on this, thanks :)

Great idea Mart! I'll help out with the editing if needed. I love guitar style xmas tunes. I have some great stuff in fileshare if somebody needs a little inspiration:)

Or maybe, rather than picking one song, it would be cool to have a little backer of a bunch of traditional holiday tunes. A medley of tunes to keep it interesting:dunno:

Excellent idea Charles , we could maybe have some classics being played on Vid, have them as part of our mini xmas Jam or have each vid follow on so lets say someone is playing jingle bells lol, well once there song is finishing it continues onto someone playing lets say rudolph the red nose reindeer hehe:thumb:

Well it sounds a great idea, especially the video melody, i'd be up for it, and possibily making a backing if anyone has a decent arrangement they'd want making, i do have one in mind that might work, i'll have to dig through my cds though and get back to you.

I ain´t much a fan of Christmas time , LOL, but hey it would be cool to watch some acapella stuff with a bunch of people singing over on a video. I wonder how it could be done, but hey, I´m sure we can manage to think it out, lol

Well i think we could do both, have like a normal xmas vocal song jam and have guitar xmas jam vid , really for simplicity on the vid it would easier just having one song but then i know Charles is a whiz with the video editing :D

for starters you better decide pretty quick. you will be suprised at how fast christmas comes when you do a large project. things happen and people get busy. it took over 2 weeks to do the cd insert alone last year. also are we going to do another gb christmas cd like we did last year too? i think we should so start thinking of songs you want to do for a cd also. as for a video there has to be parts where the women of gb are dressed in those little skimpy santa suits. or would you rather see my beergut hanging over my guitar.

Yeah i think the xmas cd is a great idea , whatever anyone decides to do for a xmas song could be put on the cd much like lastyear :)
I think it would be great to have a vocal xmas jam this year but would love to do a vid aswell , the thing is due to life in general lol its not always easy to organize , so i think we should decide on one or the other and stick with it, but with whats being suggested and what i would like is to try to make everyone feel included and feel they can add something to the table in what were doing much like last years xmas song :)
I will leave this here for a few weeks and see what is wanted, suggested , try to come out with a balance of all things :D

Thanks m8, well if we do im thinking of having like a lead singer then all of us on the chorus, makes it easier and we can all take part like that :D
Ive got a song in mind, i think what we can do is that all the xmas covers ppl do can be put onto a cd like lastyear, have a vocal jam which ive got a idea for , that leaves the video jam to think on , i will bring more shortly lol :D

Well if my services are going to be needed for a backer, i'd rather know about it sooner rather then later, once december gets here its not a whole lot of time for all of us to work with.
