Hello everyone, here is a lovely little song by Amy Grant called "Big Yellow Taxi", Janelle and myself had be talking about some songs we wouldn't mind covering, and between us, this came to the top of the list :)
I must say Janelle has done a lovely job on vocals, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with you on this hun :hug:

way to go janelle. nice job. you too jamie. about tony's latency comment. i have noticed before with tracks and different locations. when i did the christmas colab last year and had like 30 guitar solos from all over the world a lot of them were out of sync except the ones from the usa. i wonder if it has to do with the 60hz here and the 50hz power frequency there. would this have an effect on the sampling rate?

Hey, very sweet rendition! The backer sounds very sparkly and bright. I'm not sure what kind of guitar that is but it sounds great. And it is well mixed too. Beautiful guitar playing on this - really perty. Janelle, wow, you have a pretty good voice. I thought between the two of you you did a fine job on covering this tune. I didn;t secretly buy this CD like Sergio did, but I secretly enjoy listening to it on the radio during my commuting :toothless:

Thinking about Hanson doing this song is not a good thing, but this version was definitely sweet. Regarding the latency thing, I think it's just tricky sometimes to sync up song parts because your not always sure which beat the singers are trying to hit. As far as the transatlantic file exchange, have to say the stuff I've done with Geordie has always been N'Sync! :D

Nice to hear Janelle sing; not sure she does enough covers and it was a thoughtful collaboration for Jamie to come up with!!
