Just picked up my Pod X3 Bean after raising the cash from turning over some gear on Ebay, here are some tones from it.:)
Mainly preset patches (with exception of two of Axe2Grinds patches, cheers Justin mate:bowdown: ), played over a Funk backer I have, did not apply any plug ins at all, just raw Pod X3 recording into Acoustica Mixcraft software. Patches Used are following:woot: :
0-42" - Purple 5D
44"-56" - Tweed Solo 8D
56"-1.06" - Thru Zero 11B
1'07-1'17" - Jazzy Chorus 12C
1:18- 1:39" - Big Solo 11D
1:40-1'48" Red Bean Blues 10A
1:51 - 2'24"- Shred 3D
2:25-2:35" - JS Lead (Axe2Grind)
2:36-end - Timmons Lead (Axe2Grind)
It is lovely to have a Pod finally as I have been using mainly a Guitarport till now. I will keep my guitarport as a backup for sure.
Next I am gonna try vocals thru my X3 and get back to working on some covers I am trying to wrap up....:woot:

I thought you owned the Pocket Pod kenny? ...I already ebayed mine, made $110 on it, only cost me $119.
Also when I bought the Pod X3 at weekend in guitar Center I asked what is best deal they can do and they sold it me without sales tax, which is 8% down here so well pleased with that savings.
anyways, back to the topic, thx for listening you guys:woot:

Hey Mark,
Nice one mate, congrats on getting your X3. Sounds fantastic, very nice range of tones there. Are any of them using dual tone ? I've been listening to the demo of that function of the X3 on the Line 6 site, sounds really cool. Very nice playing Bro and cool BT too. Nice to know my patches will import to it and sound the same. Are there any amp / FX models on the X3 that are exclusive to the X3 ?
Also, Has'nt greabox now been updated to be X3 compatible, so you can use that as an Ed/Lib ?
Thanks for the wicked demo........:yourock:

Great stuff mate, and congrats on your purchase, it sounds right on the money, and the extra features it comes with over the XT really caught my attention too.
The demo was excellent, you sound like you're settling right in on it too, big congrats again mate, and look forward to hearing more from you with it :thumb: :thumb:

Wow...you sound right at home on that sucka, Mark. It's cool idea you had to whack 'em all this backer. Every one is a gem. I have a POD XT with all the packs. I havent read up much on the X3. Lovely playing through out though. Wicked good!

thx Capn for listening
I am just impressesd I got it out of box and had it recording to PC via USB with some nice tones just from presets...so it appears user friendly....I already have Guitarport so am fairly familiar with Line 6 gear
I think there will be a steep learning cure as the functionality is mindblowing
I better take the manual to bed with some cocoa:) Finally I get a real POD, I have wanted one since very first POD......:woot:

Some nice new tones! Awesome way to showcase the device. (Mail it to me so I can be sure yours does not have any defects) :D I will ship it back in about 3 months after my thorough analysis!! Great job Mac!
If I were not dead broke, this would be a great rig!

Mark, great playing. The X3 sounds fantastic. I am still not sure if I want to ditch the XT for it yet but I am listening to music submissions like yours on various forums plus all the reviews I can, exp. XT vs. X3 to make up my mind. I have a few items pending sale and wouldn't mind blowing the cash on it if it does smoke the XT.
I'm glad you like your new bean. It beats takes the burden off cpu to record. You should try one with an Atomic amp! You'll shit yourself.

Thanks that is a very nice compliment. I have had a crazy week and have not been able to mess with it more but will do by weekend. So watch this space for a new demo of some of the various User patches, especially some dual tone patches:rock:

Not so much impressed about the tones on it as with the playing man, :yourock:. I wonder how the mic input for vox-acoustic works like. Anyways, should be one fun toy to mess with!
