I just played a rock concert with George Lynch of Dokken fame!!!

Hi all,

hope you had a great Halloween,

tonight I went to attend a musical instructional clinic with George Lynch of Dokken and Lynch Mob fame performing,

besides being very respected, he is a really down to earth musician and nice

here's the really cool part:

some things happened that I ended up playing as George Lynch's bassist with George Lynch at my side for a spontaneous rock concert for the whole night

I was thinking about it, hearing many congratulations after talking with musicians and now I'm like how cool is that?

I mean it's one thing to be in a band that opens up for famous musicians, it's completely another to actually be the bass player for a someone who is a very respected guitarist of the stature of George Lynch.

many people came up to me afterwords and said you sounded really good and that "George Lynch is a guitar god" and "that was a chance in a lifetime to play a show with George Lynch congratulations"

anyway it was such a cool experience(and I know some of you like me really enjoy George Lynch's music) thought I would share it with all the great people/musicians at GuitarBlast.

lets see. i handed out candy to little kids and you played onstage with george lynch. ok i guess you win this time. are you kidding? there would be one less testicle on my body for a chance to play onstage with mr lynch. that must have been an incredable experience. i also like to hear how guys we sometimes idolize turn out to be really cool guys. congrats to you.

You Lucky Bastard!....oops sorry spontaneous reply. Dude that's awesome. I can safely say that George Lynch is the sole responsible person for me taking up guitar. He's my number one fav and I hope you cherish that experience for many years to come. Nice one Bro.:thumb:

Thanks alot guys for your kind words,

it was definately a cool experience !!!(yeah that's an understatement HA HA)

FYI:
people were recording the whole show with cell phone camera's and

to the right of the stage about 5 feet away the show was being recorded with a videocamera so it will likely showup on youtube, google, or something :notme: at least that's likely :D

thanks jethro1130c and PodGod(Charles)
(btw Pod do you prefer I call you PodGod or Charles or do you have a preference?)

yeah he is down to earth, and has a great sense of humor(he had me laughing alot at what he said)

but like any professional(especially ones whose name are on the bill) he is all business

when auditioning people and we played our first song, he walked over to the drummer and said thanks shook his hand, and said next and in a loud voice said "can anyone play drums fast?"

then he walked over to me and I realized there was the possibility that he would thank me as well and tell me to go on my way, and get someone else

fortunately instead he said "okay, real quick here are the changes", and then we went into a real quick dokken song, I think it was tooth and nail,

after we played that, then we played for the audience, the audience enjoyed alot of the songs particularly the more famous ones

so first song was tooth and nail, and after that one, he showed the changes real quick to the song/solo Mr Scary, after that it got to be blur of songs from his Dokken music, to Lynch Mob, to Solo Albums :thumb:

definately a cool experience !!!
