Spooky this.......... having just read how Ritchie Blackmore said he is very happy that Jimmy Page has made it big because he is a very talented guy i come across this Zep footage . For those of us who have followed Ritchie Blackmore over the years and seen him on many occasions just check out some of the stage mannerisms of Jimmy Page in this clip.Forget about the Gibson and the Ronnie James Dio style trousers.

Watching it. Still donīt get the point. Oh well, I know Iīm thick as a brick. All I know is mr. Page has stolen too many stuff, last one I realised was a Davy Graham tune.

Still there is some ppl much worse that will goto more extremes of doing Blackmores moves on stage though ain't that right Jim (Mart thinks of a certain kid on a video with to much spare time on his hands) :lol::p

I don't know much about either of them but I always thought Blackmore was more... hendrix than page on stagecraft. Page lust looks like a Mod in this clip - moves that are more at home in the Small Faces than say Deep Purple. My first memory of Blackmore was watching him play Black Knight and he was far less angular with his moves.

seems to me page has always had more recognition than blackmore :dunno: although IMO the man in black leaves him for dead...well, opinions eh lol
