A cover of Top Jimmy featuring the vocal talent of my mate Ted Hunter....

I gave Ted my backing track to listen to as I knew he was a big Halen fan and I thought he would get a buzz out of it...... 2 days later, he's dropped a disc in my letterbox with a vocal take on it.... totally out of the blue, I hadn't even asked him to have a crack at it!!

I think he did a great job on the vocal considering he's primarily a guitarist....

Listening to this for the second time. Again, awesome clean pristine guitar playing, but man, I never thought DLR would sound so politically correct, :notme:I mean this guy sings great, but.....Awe, wtf, I can´t sing one twentieth this dude does, so wtf, 5 here folks!

Realy great job here man. The whole production sounds great and the solo is pretty amazing as well.

The guy singing did a great job too, its realy hard to capture Daves flare though.

I think the guitar tone is not even close to the original. The tone should be more clear sounding than it is here.

But an A for effort for sure - the playing is great.

Vocals-Good, Guitars-FANTASTIC! Being a huge Van Halen fan, my expectations for this were unreal but you guys hit this one out of the park.
