It's deja vu all over again. The guitars sound really heavy. Good job on the vocals. This definitely has your own signature style to it. Cool post.

Cool to hear this version covered. You two did a great job. Guitars and backer are top-notch as always, and Linda your vocals fit right in here. Cool post indeed. :yourock:

Well, I just got done checking out RiffAddict’s Priest version of this song, and decided to head over here to check out you two’s version. I must embarrassingly admit that I am very un-knowledgeable on the Pre-Buckingham/Nicks Fleetwood Mac catalog (and the apparently infamous Peter Greene work with them), so I have not heard the original of this. This is pretty heavy, which I like, so maybe I need to pick me up a few old Fleetwood Mac CDs! I really like the vocal approach in this recording. I know you may not understand what I mean by this, but it has a classic British sound/style to it that is appealing. Great job, Linda!

This has Art’s guitar lead style/sound written all over it. It is reminiscent of the lead work in his original tune, “The Land We Used to Know” as well as the lead work in his Deep Purple cover of “Sometimes I feel Like Screaming” (which I still listen too).

Well, I'm afraid I'm ALSO one of the ones who never heard the original Fleetwood Mac version, so I can't compare it, but I have to say the sound and feel took me back 25 years ... it took me back to my favourite time and place, sitting in the cellar bar in the Talbot ("The Pit" of course), surrounded by good friends, looking round at all the wall paintings and listening to Keith and Georgina's jukebox, while nursing a bottle of broon & getting high on the multicoloured smoke that always hung around at the back end, opposite the front stairs.

That was a magical time and I'm always grateful I was there to share those days (and nights).

This could have been on between "See Emily Play" and "High Hopes" .. and it probably WAS.

Thanks Linda and thanks Art (for the sweet memory) :wavey: :)

Thanks guys , done this yonks ago whilst drunk !!!!!!!! , anyway even tho i loved JPs version , i always preferred the lunacy and madness of the original , and its sombre overtones . Green was a genius for sure , even tho hes back with us , his playing ain't . but many thanks !!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, that was different and spooky good. I love the slower pace which made the music wonderfully menacing and powerful, contrasting beautifully with Linda's lovely ethereal vocal. Very intriguing cover!
