As you can see, we have three categories. Here's how it works:

Start a new thread in any of the battle forums and near the bottom look for "Battle system options". There you can specify your opponent. At that point your opponent will recieve an automated PM letting them know they've been challenged and the battle has begun.

Here is how the current scoring is setup:

Opponent Zero (KO) Win Points
How many points does one require to win if their opponent does not receive any votes? 5

Absolute Win Points
How many points does one require in order to win a battle? 6

Top Battlers
How many battlers do you want to show in the memberlist once you click the link? 10

Scoring System :: Wins
How many points do you want to give users for every absolute (regular) win? 10

Scoring System :: Losses
How many points do you want to subtract from users for every loss? 10

Scoring System :: Knock Outs
How many points do you want to give users for every knock out? 30

That all seems rather technical for what is essentially a win-lose game?... might take a moment to get my head round it cause for some reason its a little over me atm... lol. Good to see this feature though. Should spice things up a bit. Lets hope it works out good and friendly though. These things soon get nasty and its unfortunate.

Lol, I find it hard to believe that someone who can play Malmsteen stuff finds this too difficult:) Actually, it's pretty easy. Just start a thread in the proper forum and fill in the name of the person you want to challenge. The system does the rest, including creating the poll and sending a PM to the person challenged. Just don't challenge me:eek:

It's pretty straight forward, with all technicalities aside, basically it's 5 votes to win. If someone gets a 3 to 0 it's a knockout. :)

:lol: im terrible with understanding rules and whatnot. Probably explains why i just dont bother obeying them much in life. Im sure i'll realize the simplicity of it soon enough. Just the way Eric worded it all there makes it sound overly complex for something thats meant to be 1 Vs 1. Someone wins, someone loses... thats it... what else is there to it ? :lol:
