Ive been in asia almost 5 years... never bought a fake until the other day. I saw this cat in a store window and could resist for the rediculous price. I doubled its value by replacing the strings!

Looks like an awesome guitar for the money whether it was the real deal, a fake or a copy. Something would have to be terribly wrong with it to pass up a deal like that.

Nothing wrong with that!! How does the floyd stay in tune? What's the action like... you seem to play it as easily as you play the others you have.

And what is the finish like, is it going to last? Looks like a lot of axe for silly money :D

Haha well picked up wah wah! That's my bad though...
I dont know how long it will last - the finish is rough in places but its a solid guitar. You dont really notice it unless you look closely or hold it up to the light. The neck is remarkably good.
Haven't seen a blackmore model but Ive seen fake Yngwie's and a lot of noiseless pickup strats. Its interesting because they totally reverse engineer the guitars so if you buy a fake gibson the pups sound just like old PAF's...if you buy a strat with noiseless pups, they are indeed noiseless. Not as good a tone but better than a lot of cheap guitar companies that just whack any old pickup in there. I used to have a squire once and you couldn't tell the difference between the bridge and neck pups but with this fake its virtually no different than my US strat. They must have used a mexican model to work with because it has 'made in mexico' on the back, when clearly its made in china. Shame they didnt have a US one to work with otherwise Id have the cool star fret inlays.
I haven't played any Bon Jovi on the guitar yet :)
There's some amazing Gibsons too...if I was more of a Gibson man I would get me some. Supreme's, boneyards, customs, standards, ace frehley's, playboy's....all for 'silly money'.

Yes I think its a copy of the mexican version because they even copied the 'made in mexico' on the back. If thewy had copied the US version it would have the star inlays. There is another sambora strat copy in a shop here for around the same price called 'barracuda'. Its black and has the star inlays, floyd and HB...but no fender logo.
