Hello everyone, im very pleased to announce the official opening of the Guitarblast Myspace page:

The page is not only to celebrate the great site that is GB, but also to celebrate the music and community that we have here, you'll already see some familar faces on the friends list, and if you have a Myspace page, feel free to add us :thumb:
The page will be updated every month with songs from GB, atm we only have covers up there, if you don't mind your originals being posted on the page, please let me know either in this thread or via PM, as i know original songs are somewhat more personal then covers.
You'll also see some familar songs on the right of the page, a complete list of all the Mp3 Of The Month winners from 2007, with all the songs available to listen to :)

Sure mate, first off sign up here:

You can upload quite a few mp3's and make a playlist from it, you can customize the player, the order of the songs etc, then it generates the code for you, and you just copy and paste the code into one of your sections in the profile editor :)
Once you've done it once, its childs play, if you need any further help on the how, just drop me a pm mate :thumb:

I had this problem too when i first started it :lol: , if you open Explorer up, login to your myspace, then without closing the window, come here and click on the link to the page, then you should be able to click on Add Friend button on the GB Myspace page, all being well it will have remembered you're logged into your page :thumb:

If it opens it in a new window, and fails, do the above again, except copy the link and paste it into the browser address bar instead of clicking on the link :)

I will update these on a weekly basis , so we all get to have our songs aired :)

A few of us have comments about someone posting something nasty about us on their blog with a link to read it. This is a phishing scam, do not click the link, delete the message or comment and change your password. We have a lot of "friends" in common so we all need to do this asap and keep an eye on things until it dies out. May well be worth approving comments for a while too.

I was just coming here to mention the bogus comment as well. There are too many scams on MySpace!!

Big thanks to Steve & Wendy for making us aware of this, the password have been changed, and hopefully that will put a stop to it, and our apologises to everyone who has received a bogus comment.

To me it isn't a big deal. I never click hyperlinks on myspace. And if I add you as I friend, it's because I trust you. I leave mine open, with no need for approval of comments. I can always delete comments on the back end if they are offensive. No harm, no foul. Part of the game on Myspace imo.

(knock on wood). I always am clearing my cache on Myspace anyhow. Perhaps that helps.

Wow, completely missed this one. Great news that GB has its own myspace. I be checking this out when I get home (MySpace is banned at work :( )

Just updated the page slightly with some fresh Mp3 covers from this weeks Mp3 section , also chucked the Gb 2nd anniversary jam on there aswell :)
I will work on putting up all the Mp3 winner entrys from this year over the course of the day :)
