Hi Naif, just had a listen to your piece, liked it alot, great sound on both acoustics, a lovely piece of music, definately deserves to be longer and i think lends itself to lyrics too (i know we're not allowed them in the comp, but i can see why you going in that direction).
Great work mate and best of luck :thumb:

Hey Avalon. Thanks. Just listening to your tune now. Very nice piece of music. I love when it slows down and then picks up again a little after the middle. Great dynamics, great guitar sound, and great playing!

Dunno where the hell to cast a vote on this, three fine pieces of music guys. I did buy new strings for the acoustic but they seem to have vanished :( Will try to come up with something anyway.

Hey Dallas, that was a cool tune. Very nice acoustic sound and some speedy playing too.
Stereophony, I think that's a real improvement in tone ya got using a mic! I kinda thought there was a bit much effects on the rythm at first, but as I got used to it and got into it it gave the tune a nice spacious feeling. Very relaxing and a beautiful tune.
Man I'm not gonna get many votes with you three in this comp, hehe. But who cares, right? :notme:

Thanks Naif, and i'll tell ya, i had a go at micing the battered thing after your comments in my last acoustic post. So thanks mate! It does make a huge difference. I did find it difficult to understand what sound i wanted from it but im sure like anything else it will come in time and lots of practice. Probably why theres too much verb on this?? Anyway enuff of this essaying. Thanks again!:thumb:

Came back for another listen after posting my effort, Stereophony, I agree with the others on the improvement in tone, took me forever, and a lot of good advice, to get my head round recording acoustic, it is not easy. Sounds like yo got it sussed now tho :thumb: Nice to see a few entry's this month too :D

Thanks Dallas, yeah gotta love acoustic, i learned to play my first chords and songs on acoustic, i'll definately always have one!
Cheers Steve. Your right its not easy, thing i found doing this is when your even remotely sloppy (see attached MP3!) it gets captured with bells on. Glad you all gave me the advice to mic instead of line in, the difference is huge, even to me.

Thats a lovely piece Stereophony, im not overally familar with the Stereophonics, but it sounded great, very spacey feel to the chords and well worked to bring the songs together, great work :thumb:
Great work by you too Steve, its a lovely arrangement, the stereo effect with the chords sound great, and i really enjoyed it :thumb:
Best of luck to you both in the comp, and its great to see some more entrys :yourock:

Excellent entry John, you're such a great vocalist i think sometimes we forget just how good you are on guitar too, thats an lovely piece indeed, certainly not crap, i want that renamed, or else i will :p
Beautiful tone on all the guitars, happy, flowing feel and some equally lovely lead, like Cap said, you're way to hard on yourself, this is a cracking entry :yourock:
Best of luck mate :thumb:
Thanks Jamie, and John......i know i shouldn't be so negative about my playing, although i still don't think it matches up to the likes of your good self, or pretty much the rest of these fine players..... i guess as long as it's fun, thats what really matters!!! Thanks for the confidence boost fella's!!!!:thumb:

Todd: Seems like you can´t go without your ´shredding´ even on an acoustic thingie huh? LOL, sounds great man, :)
Stereophony: Sad busyness there, but very melodic!
Steve: mmmmmm yeah! enough said!
John: Florida? Nope! You live in Colombia, lol! Man, that was sweet!
I ain´t voting for anyone, but I wanted to listen to these and comment whatever for sure. Boy you all played some wonderful stuff. Thank you guys!
