Holy shit...this is a bit of a shocker! His batman film is just due to come out. I had hopes for the guy.

Have said quite a bit on this elsewhere, it is a very sad thing indeed. He looked likely to be sensational as The Joker and now as the world awaits the viewing of his final and possibly finest work... he will never see the priase we will all heap on him for it. Very sad and completely unexpected loss of a great and promising young talent. I sure hope they forever dedicate the new Batman film to his memory. Watching it will be bittersweet.
