Thanks guys. If you LOVE a song then you will give it your all right? Love this one but I'll still be recording it until I'm 100% and that may take 30 more years.

Giggity, giggity. That's some great stuff. This is where Gary Moore excells. Playing rock stuff like this. Not pretending to play the blues :p
Great playing here. And it was great to see you do it all in one take in a video.

Thanks...hope to do some more but blues based I think. This one is still blues to me but more minor based than pentatonic or blues scale.

Thanks mate. I enjoy the pieced together bits myself mate as it's a better chance to get it right and these days I make a lot of mistakes.

Pure class. That tone is beautiful. My bends always run out of steam but yours sustain for ever and then you continue on to the next note with out even pickin!
I am stickin to drums lol

LOL I dont believe that m8 lol :)
bit of modesty there :)
besides nothing wrong with piecing a track together as the pros do it and learn the track live later.
But it is refreshing seeing performances in the videos.

Hans...my bends do lose the sustain on some of the notes...the POD really needs to be loud thru a powerful amp to get any decent kind of sustain.
Bully, no humility mate just the truth. My fingers don't move the same as they did a few years ago.
Thanks for the listen.

Really fantastic vid Chris. I too love this tune and to play it that well on vid is major talent mate. Any guitarist would be proud of this, lovely tone and awesome control. :yourock: as always. :thumb:

Commented on this back on G101 ... and it STILL knocks me out m8.
Gary would be proud of this performance (well ... would be if he wasn't such an arrogant t**t, but I guess we'll forgive him that!).
Still get those ol' Wato traits in there tho' I see ...

Bloody hell. Missed this one. A great performance there, and full of what you are always preaching - get those bends in tune.
Anyway, I have all the patches that you sent me the last time if you still need them, as well as a bloody RAID card to back up your data !

Excellent alround Chris. Love the tone and the way you play it, but most of all the way it sounds. (being able to play it is one thing, but playing it feeling is another.... you know what I mean,) I agree with John "Gary would be proud of this performance", anyone would.
Viewed it from Utube site along with another one of yours after work last night, where you do a bit of Van Halen. The Eruption was excellent, I believe it has to be the best version I've heard/seen. You make it look so easy. If only it was I'd be:lol:
Excellent Posts Chris *****
String control, I think thats what I was trying to say.

Cheers Steve...the Van Halen-ish one was just me noodling with a new guitar at the time so it's a little bit of 'Eruption' (it IS an EVH after all!) and a few other bits so I wouldn't call it too close!
Thanks for listening mate. :thumb:

Sorry Parker...missed this. It's a Peavey Wolfgang Special Goldtop I believe. It's a bit battered but the neck suits my style and the pups are hotter than hell. Wouldn't sell it for any amount of wonga. :thumb:
