Hi guys, here's something alittle different from us, its a Steve Vai track from the Fire Garden album called "All About Eve".
The whole album is a classic as far as im concerned (Bangkok & the Fire Garden Suite being 2 of the other highlights), and this one always struck a chord with Mart and myself, as has alot of Steves work over the years.
Mart takes the vocals on this track, i think its fair to say he's the primary singer of us atm, once again putting in a very powerful performence, a big thank you for your hard work Mart, and its pleasure working with you as always :yourock:
I play all acoustic and electric guitars, made the backer from scratch, and sing the harmonys, we both thoroughly enjoyed making this, hope you like it too, and thanks for taking a listen :thumb:

Well guys, I don't know where to begin here... You guys pull out all the stops in everything you do. Avalon, The BT, guitar work and harmonies... Just excellent. Mart, your vocal work here is great. Convinced from beginning to end, on a song I've never heard before which I think says so much more. As always thoroughly impressed by what you guys do. *****5

good gawd! that vocal melody lines as intricate and as complicated as vai's fretboard work!! his compositional skills are second to none in my book.

a fantastic job done here fellers! :rock: jamies captured the vai vibe well, great backer mate,love the mix. marts vox are terrific! got some balls to take this on, the thought of singing this would scare the shit outa me.

After posting so many responses after awile it can seem like you just want to acknollage what a great job people do on their recordings and feedback can get a bit old I suppose LOL saying great job ect. and running out of things to say but this sight really does have the greatest musicians anywhere on the net and ive been around the block once are twice.


Love Steve Vai always have master musician and a huge talent awesome job people I have not heard this song before so that was a great treat I just recently listen to Steve with White Snake forgot what song it was it was like last month but it was a treat to hear him jam with a band outstanding work guy's.

Superb cover guys, I have the Fire Garden album and this is one of my fav's from that. Brilliant work on the BT, you captured everything from the orginal and the Vai tones and playing were fantastic, loved the intro, I bet that was the sustain pickup by the sounds Jamie, loved that!. Mart, vocals were very good, not an easy song to sing I bet, but fantastic job. Don't think I have ever heard a cover of a singing Vai tune!. Bloody enjoyable to listen too and so much work involved.. top marks Brothers....:thumb:

What to say??? Jamie's backers are second to none, the guitars and vocals were really, really,really good, wish I knew the original for comparison. Easy five stars.

No the song well, as it touched me when I first heard it and has moved me everytime I've heard it since.

Beautiful song. This is one that I always sing to in the car, but am glad no-one else can hear because it is a bastard to sing, and I murder it. I am glad of the fact that no-one is able to record what I sing in the car.

The guitar work ? Well, like you say, it is just Vai.

But guys, you did it. It's just a fantastic job. The feel of the original vocals is there and the guitar work is on the money as well.
