Well....all of us were trying to think "Foxy" for the whole time we were doing this. In fact...one of us got lucky the other night (wasn't me unfortunately)...so it must be working. LOL!!
Anyway: Macman on guitars. Uke on the bass and echo whispers on the "foxy" parts of the vocal. I did the main vocal and the feedback guitar (since I have an old tube amp and an old Mexican Strat..it was easy to do). Special thanks to Jaime (Avalon)...yes aka Mr Music for the backing. We had a tough time because the MIDI we found was totally wrong. Also Macman was in the middle of a move, making it hard for him to get access to a PC. So..here is our version. Thanks guys for your patience. Nice working with you all. Cheers.

Woah .... what a great start to the Random Jam!!! Fantastic vocal, Uke's whispers worked real well too. Great guitar work as you would expect from Macman. Only thing here was I thought the bass could have been slightly more prominent, sounded fine, just a bit far back. Cudos to Jamie on another fine backer too. Gotta be five stars. :yourock:

Very cool guys! Listening to this at 5 in the morning before going to work. I was thinking to myself "whats that annoying beeping thing in the backing track? Some sort of keyboard?". Then I realized it was my alarm going off in the other room, haha. :dunno:

Excellent work guys, i think this definately go's down as sucess, and i had a feeling Tony might be tempted onto the song with his Bass (i was hoping he would :) ), really classy work by you all guys.
Cracking vocals Serg, really great work on them, lovely work on the guitaring Mark, and equally great work on the bass Tony, and to all of you for bringing this project together into a final product :yourock:
5 stars from me, i think i'll be moving this to the covers section to be pinned for the month, it really deserves it :thumb:

Fantastic collab cover guys. The intro is spot on and the guitar work top knotch !!!. I thought the vocals were the best I've heard on a Jimi cover. Bloody fantastic all round. I do have a personal probably with this particular tune though, everytime I heard it, I start doing the Foxy dance that Garth did in Wayne World, can't help it, its build into me.!LOL. I'm sure Jimi is looking down on you guys and smiling!. Top work....and 5 from me. :yourock: Y'all.

Hehehe!! It was fun, a bunch of emails back and forth. Bass guitar being low in the mix is all my fault, as that is what I heard on the original one. Agreed this is some sort of cover,, but man unsticky it please, just leave it with the rest of tunes uploaded. Thanks for listening guys, :woot:All you guys are really top notch. Man I wish we could have a beer at some bar and have a blast.

Big huge thanks to Serg and Tony for putting up with me:D , damn this was a hard project:dunno: . It is truly difficult to do some of these collabs when you are not all in the same room, I bet we exchanged at least 20 emails doing this.
Jamie's backing track in my opinion saved the day, especially for me as I could never get the guitars recorded straight to that midi we had:headscratch:
Tony's bass was fantastic and added great depth to the track and both Serg and Tony were extremely gracious as I offered them more of the guitarwork ...Thx for that guys:thumb:
Sergio has a fantastic voice and pulled off an awesome rendition here. Loved his feedback on guitars he achieved..
This was a lot of fun and tested me a lot. This is actually not an easy song to do at all.
Anyways, thanks to Tony, Serg and Jamie for the backer and thank you all for giving our cover a listen.:thumb:

Nice one guys...I like Mark's Powerchords and the solo is wicked. Ukelele that's a real shame about the bass would have liked to hear it much more, cos I know you can play it. And 3Fingers vox are awesome in this and so was the fret wearing Feedback!!
It was a great idea Chris, and they pulled it off admirably. Now what's next?

Bloody hell ! This is just brilliant.
Great guitar playing, the mix is amazing. The vocals are just spot on. And the bass is pounding away for me. The feel is all there though, you wouldn't know you guys weren't in the same room or found this difficult.
Everything just sounds so natural for you all. Love it. Feedback at the start, solos, the whispers.
Excellent !
:yourock:
Guys, keep them coming. Collabs like this make me want to sort my issues out with my recording problems as I wanna take part again damnit !
