Anyone up for posting say a thirty second shot at whatever rhythem playing comes up to mind over these simple drums? I think it would be fun to listen to different approaches to the same beat. Post it right here in this thread, ainīt this the collab one? No competition, no nothing, just plain fun. Here it goes. If there are 2 posts uploaded I will record whatever fresh brainfart comes to mind and upload it as well. If not, well, enjoy the loops, :woot:

Mop work done. Thx man, I sware to whatever I just hit the record button and let it flow. I was looking around for a pick and couldnīt find it, so there went my fingers. I loved the tone you had in there, really mean clean man! It sounded like some early eighties intro to a power rock song, cool! Great head banger for sure! Now lets see if any other guys bring up more stuff, itīs easy, just stop thinking for a minute about your reputation/covers and go for it! :woot:

Yeah I don't exactly have the best gear right now, I'm working on rebuilding my setup. Recorded with a super cheapo epiphone SG tuned to C and a v-amp2 going straight into my 8 yr old soundcard

Cool stuff Andy! Gotta slide the guitar track a bit after recording whatever to catch up with the drums man, our beloved latency, lol! Itīs so fun to listen what a simple 4x4 drum track can build up in your mind. No fills, no breaks, other than what you feel like playing atm. And thx Justin! LOL! I really had a hard time tuning the guitar as I said, but that bass line is so full of groove! (Way cool stuff yet again Lefty bro, :woot:)

I took some time tonight and slapped this together In the spirit i think was intended.I did it in about an hour and a half and left in all the warts and flub's.

The Fuzzy sound is me playing the guitar line on a Bass set to Grunge on the cosm....those are tuff bends to make with those big strings but good practice.I recorded straight into my machine this time without using amps which is different for me but the sound came out ok.
Hey i listened to your composition and it was great!.How do you get such a good chunky bass sound?.And the Nylon classical was i nice touch too.:woot:
My biggest problem recording is comming up with complete drum lines or whole songs, i ussually just put one beat on and try and make a song out of it, i sure could use some pointers on how to program good drums like you have.

I hear you about the composing stuff. I canīt think of any structure when I play guitar lol! Choruses? Verses? WTF are they? LOL! Thing is itīs all pretty much easy math, and hell, Iīm a mathematician! But when it comes to making music Iīm a washing machine. Oh well, itīs fun to make some noise now and then.
Bass, itīs an elcheapo chinese one I bought at some german store online. Plugged into a POD xtl, and tweaked a bassman amp emulation it has. Itīs my favourite for E guitar too. Drums, they are from Beta Monkey. I bought them a couple years ago, love to copy and paste them within Audacity and have some fun over the weekends. And please donīt call my shitty thing a composition, that was just a few minutes of brainfarting, as everything I play, LOL! I never give the time or have patience for constructing something reasonably well thought, itīs just a īhit the red button and go for whatever comes upīthing. BTW, gonna listen to your take again, this time without cans, fuck the neighbours, LOL!! Great GREAT funky stuff man!

Ola Tony!! :thumb: i checked out the thread the other day and saw you had got rid of the used files and this evening i got tired of working on a track im doing at the minute so i thought id have a fart about with a little riff that i played that got stuck in my head and this is what came out. I added some bass to the main riff to beef it up a little.Thought it was ok for this thread. Feel free to throw any leads guitars on it anyone.
