Did this ages ago. The backer was a midi conversion for one of the kids I teach, and I did a quick take on it to show him what was possible if he got the song good enough to record. It's been sat on my hard drive for ages as I thought it too good to delete, but not good enough to post :dunno: Decided I was never going to redo it properly, so tried putting some lead on it to jazz it up a bit, getting nowhere fast I took the sensible option and asked Mark if he wanted a go at it  He sent his mix this morning and I have been in work all day waiting to get home, do the final mastering and get it posted. Thanks again Mark, really like what you did with this. Way way better than the dross I was coming up with :D

I can re-live my youth through GB. Great cover guys. Sleezy singing, raw subteranean guitars and great feel overall. Cool cover choice too.

Nice work!

Great take on this! Guitars and vox, gave it a dirtier feel that worked really well. Nice lead fills again Macman. Ive sent my mother a copy of this down in Caerphilly Steve, its her favourite song of all time! Great cover guys!!

Great work guys, a very nice backer from the midi Steve, the guitars sounded spot on to my memory, and the lead fitted it lovely too Mark, great tone from the X3 too, liked the vocals too, would of liked them slightly higher in the mix personally, but thats a very small thing, cus its a great performence.
5 stars :thumb:

very cool kids.... I like the original...I also like the cover that the Power station did of it ( andy taylor totally went hard in the solo in the Power Stations cover of this little gem ) but sounds good man... guitar work is good...backing track is good on this...nice little find on the old comp...
