So... I was working on a new original and this happened...
I plugged my acoustic resonator guitar straight into the guitarport and used a little distorted sound to put down some dirty slide stuff. Then I added some kick drum, a bass and a little guitar solo.
Then I didn't have any lyrics for the song, but I wanted to complete it anyway, so I sang the lyrics to "you upset me baby" by albert king, wich was the song that inspired the main riff I'm using here. Added some harmonica as well.
Used a bit of distortion for both harp and vocals, in an attempt to get a really dirty sound.

That had my foot tapping all the way through! Loved the dirty sound, on the harp in particular. Not sure your vocal needed it but made for an interesting sound. Always enjoy your blues stuff, you are the man :thumb: *****

Excellent work on this Naif , the guitars both bass and normal , harp , kickdrum sounded lovely , the vocals were indeed interesting with the effect you had on them but i thought it made it sound more like a old kinda 50s blues track recording , which isn't a bad thing at all , 5 stars on excellent cover mate:)

The dirtier the better, man! I can hear the thick mud pouring out of the speakers. It's sticky and hot in the room all of a sudden. I think that my office has just turned into a smoke-filled roadside club. I think that I am the only cracker in the joint too! :lol:

Thanks alot! I like the way this turned out, and mostly by accident too, just experimenting with some sounds and it sorta fell into place.

Damn, that was way cool! At first I thought the distorsion on the vocal was a bit too much, but as the track went along I dug it more & more.
