I've just upped my connection to 10mb so I thought I'd have another go at this! http://www.speedtest.net/
My ISP is Virgin Media. I can't remember how to sum this result up (it's been a year) Can anyone with any connection savvy tell me if this is about right or is it shite like everything else with the Virgin brand name.

Seems like you've got about 4 down and 0,4 up... 10 should look something like this:

I agree it is only about 4 meg but you will never get 10 meg download unless you are about 10 feet from your bt exchange due to shit old fashioned bt lines.:upset: Thats why they advertise up to 10meg to get out of it:maddance:
Still, 4 meg ain't bad mate.I got this.http://www.speedtest.net/result/249896518.png (http://www.speedtest.net)
But I only signed up for 2 meg anyway.

This is what I get on BT. The lying ********* told me I would connect at 6.5, and when I pointed out that I don't told me it was down to my equipment...Ummmmm.....The BT phonline? or the BT hub? Or the BT wireless adapter????????

A Virgin media tech told Sky yesterday that the upgarde to 10mbs could take till September to happen. Wonder wot they'd do/say if we told them it could take till September before we all decided to pay our bills,

A momentary anomoly I thought, but it's been this way for weeks. If this my true speed, then I am hooked up to the CIA backbone....and I am sure someone will come knocking... :)
