I got this Backing track from Blues Player a couple days ago along with a few others.Man that guy has a heart of gold for posting all those backing tracks for anyone who ask's nicely!.
Recorded this straight into the video camera so it's pretty ruff .I am using my 61 re-issue Gibson SG through my Peavey Classic 30,Kustom HG 65,and Marshall with only Radial Hot British OD for pedal.
This song has probably been done on here before but what the hell i still like its groove.

Cool...You play this the way it should be played with a groove and a swing... Those bends showed real control too. ... and whats more I cant get anywhere close to this "ruff" standard!!
...And what a gear room! I don't think anyone did this before, not in video format anyway. Really cool to see people on the forum "in their natural habitat".

Thanks Ukelele
I love your handle by the way!.
Raw is a good description i kind of like that just breaking type of overdrive sound that a Gibson and a Marshall give you.

That was brilliant! I don't think I've ever got beyond the intro with this one and seeing what you did for the verse made me pick my guitar up and it was nailed in micro seconds because of what you played! Keep 'em coming...that had ALL of the sassiness you need for the 'smith. :thumb:

A "Handle" in NorthAmerica/Canada is the Name you go by, its actually a CB Radio term.
My handle would be Parker1963, yours is Ukelele.....All it means is that i like the name you chose!.
No i dont swing that way...."departures only! No Arrivals!!"

Hey Wah Wah
Thanks for taking a look at my vid.You are far too kind.
I know what you mean about the verse part that use to confuse me as well, there are two parts being played in the original song. The bar chorded and the one i was playing and the two were layered over each other which made it hard to figure out.
P.S i really liked your Gary Moore solo on "The Loner" that i watched on your site you have great chop's and a solid guitar sound.

Nice guitar! Nice playing! Nice trousers!
Wish I had never sold my SG :( The Epi does the job just fine, and to be honest is better than I am, but is just slightly lacking in comparison to the Gibson. Awesome guitar for the money mind!

I remember you asking, thought I had replied. The one in my avatar belongs to Tomy Iommi ...... My Epi looks exactly the same tho ... from a distance :tard:
A long long time ago I had the real thing, but sold it, along with my Marshall, to fund a move to London, and only really got back into playing 20 odd years later when Wendy bought me the Epi for Xmas as I was teaching her boys, and then I discovered this site and got back into playing, bought the Micro BR so I could record, and here we are :D
The Gibson was wasted on me really, but I was young free and single, so could afford it.

Nice to hear from the female coningent here on GB, sometimes i think we guy's think we have the market cornered on guitar playing. But i have seen women guitar players who can rock with the best of them.,Do you play to?.
Park
Parker, that was great, man! That song is on my to-do list. I know the basic riff but need to study all the fills and lead parts that you seem to have down quite well. Your tone is perfecto for this. You have quite a fun playroom there! One thing I would recommend though would be to work on your stage presence a bit. :)

Hey Zeppy
I know what you mean about pc's. To me they dont belong in the recording room, i use a Roland BR1200 that has a built in hard drive, guitar, bass, and vocal processors and final mix down programs that can be burned right to CD without using any type of comp. And thats the way i like it.
You should give one a try they are not wildly expensive and are so much easier to use and interface with.
I will check out your myspace and give you a listen.Keep playin and oh ya Fuk the computers....you cant beat the sound of a real amp!.
