Hi everyone , im not sure if you guys in the Us saw this program during the mid 80s through til the early 90s , but most of us in the Uk will remember this , its a sarcastic comedy strip that use to take the piss out of politicians mostly along with some famous ppl using puppets lol ,

Well i heard on the radio the other day that its returning next sunday i believe , but this time they are using computer generated graphics for it , not sure if it will still have the same shine as the puppets lol but if you use to be a fan of this it might be worth checking out next week :D

Awesome! I loved Spitting Image :) Those who don't remember the show might remember the Land Of Confusion video by Genises that used Spitting Image characters. I wish they would use the puppets though.

Yeah, absolutely awesome show, i remember when they were taking the piss out of Thatcher and the Cabinet, a servant asked:
"What meat would you like for dinner Prime Minister?",
she replied "Steak please"
the servant asked "and the vegetables?"
she said "They'll have the same as me"
Great show, looking forward to it coming back on, should be good :)

 , well for me it was always taking a good pop at the politicians, like Bremner, Bird & Fortune do more recently (love that show), and Have I Got News For You (love that too).
I'm not that politically minded really, but politicians make me sick, and these kinda shows bring them down a peg or two, i think some of them still haven't forgiven Spitting Image from the first time round, and i bet the likes of Chris Eubank or Frank Bruno haven't either

Another is, you don't get who you vote for, you get who everyone else votes for.

Bremner actually started work on that show doing the voices. Also another unknown was the guy who did Maggie's voice, Chris Barrie, who went on to become Arnold Rimmer in Red Dwarf. Spawned alot of talent that show did! Glad its back but not sure about the computer generated puppets.
The funniest thing about that show for me was they always had Lord Lucan in the background somewhere being a waiter or a barman.
