Hard to discern what your playing from being muddled up with Steve Stevens and the clipping of the microphone. Spend a bit more time on your intonation of your bends and your vibrato though. Good attempt though buddy!

I may well take you up on the offer of the backing track :)
It was simply a play the song and my guitar at the same time. Thanks for the comment on my vibrato. Interestingly enough, another person said the one thing that was good about the video was the bending so its good to get a wide variety of criticism here. I'll admit i didnt use much vibrato in it, which is weird because its something i like to use a lot. i like to sound very much like Jake E. Lee when it comes to vibrato, even though i got no chance of that :P

Hello Skeeza
Hat's off to you for having the Gut's to post. It's scary to post on here a first time! .
Your'e hammer on's sounded good and this is a hard solo to emulate Stevie Stevens is an underated player in my mind.(watched him Live)
I sure would like to hear you play along to the backing track that another has posted it would give you more room to play and give us a better chance to hear your solo.
Keep it up, you have your own style develop it.

absolutely, steve stevens is a brilliant guitarist. extremely underrated. hes one of my favourite. ive never thought i could do him justice by playing his note for note, so i thought i may as well sort myself with my own out :)
cheers, i may well re-record with the backing track
