these look appealing to me with the 2 tubes as im getting a bit bored with the podxt now.
so if anyone here has one, could you post a small sample of the blackmore/ engl setting? not many samples out there but i heard a nice warm "tubey" one.

jim.

I have the Zoom G7.1ut -- the one tube version
it's all about tweaking ... but, everything sounds so damn real. amazing
I jam Smoke On The Water with a "Lukather" patch (Mesa Boogie amp sim), and everytime it is just WOW
Something I like is the noise gate / suppression.
Another is FX, pre-amp placement in the chain can be altered.

You may want to check out the Boss GT10, the guys are saying it may sound a bit more edgy and transparent than POD tones. So may be an easier route to that Glassy tone we always discuss...:)

thanks for replying john :thumb: from the snippets ive heard of this, i like!
"but, everything sounds so damn real" thats what i wanna hear!..some tube warmth to soften the digital bite that pisses me off. :)
cheers mark for your suggestion, but i think the boss gt 10 is more an effects unit than amp sim..plus its a lot more money!.....and no tubes:(
think im gonna get me a g9.2tt this summer...unless some new amp sim appears.
thanks for yer help chaps.

jim.
