Nah Johnny, that's a photo of a real Gibson headstock. It's not from the same guitar. If you see the real Gibson logo here (taken from http://www.gibson.com), it does indeed look like a "u". But the guy is well dodgy using photos from different guitars to trick people. As Slicer says, Look at the different between the two machine heads in the different fotos.

I purchased this beautiful guitar in Derry, N.Ireland, United Kingdom about 2 weeks ago! I've had it for a pretty long time now!

I've actually had more good experiences than bad with ebay ... but I guess I was just lucky so far then? (but I do tend to buy more from 'shops' than 2nd-hand from private sellers)
