You could check it out for yourself, assuming you could see a certain file share section of a certain message board.

Listened to it once through so far...sounds good I'm sure it'll grow on me more. Interesting to hear how they've changed over the years, still have the classic Lep sound though there's subtle differences like in Elliot's vox sound. Still have some catchy choruses though not quite as mega-hooky as the Mutt Lange influenced ones ;)

I can't hear this 'back to On Thru The Night' thing that people are commenting on. I loved the X album from a few years ago and some of these would fit right on that but I don't hear any tracks like 'Photograph' or 'Let It Rock'. But it's good stuff if you like the Leps.
Just sold me tickets for Leppard, Whitesnake and Black Stone Cherry...just same night as we're expecting to move house so bit of a sickener. :(

I like em. They just evolved. I liked hysteria and Adrenalize just like I loved High and Dry.
they are really different bands now. It changed since Phil Collen took over the guitar duties, and Vivian is my only dissapointment, he lost some of the edge to his playing.
I think it's worth a listen.

I'd agree with that about Vivian...he was good with Dio (Stand Up and Shout stands out as a real belter guitar wise) but I thought he went downhill with Whitesnake as it was just trying to sound as much like John Sykes as possible when I saw them on New years Eve 1987 at Wembley. For me his best stuff will always be the stuff he did with the Riverdogs. Great, great first album.
