Just got the song "Nostradamus" from Judas Priest's upcoming album. I think it sounds pretty cool. Not instant love, but a good track.
Anyone else listened to it? Opinions?

Suppose if you don't like 'em in general then you ain't gonna hear anything different from earlier. Rob sounds awesome as ever but did nowt for me. More power to them tho...any UK band on a big stage should not be taken for granted. They've earned the right. :thumb:

This is the 1st I've heard it. Sounds much like Painkiller. will wait to hear the rest when dropped.

I don't like Nostradamus at all, it's a bit cringworthy IMO. I thought Visions was a hell of a lot better. I still love the Classic Priest (Sin After Sin, Sad Wings Of Destiny, Stained Class, Killing Machine) The last JP song I liked was The Rage (1980). Heard the stuff that came afterwards like Point Of Entry, Screaming For Vengeance, Painkiller, Ram It Down, Jugulator and it did nowt for me. In fact I couldn't believe wot I was hearing when I first heard Painkilller. Oh I laughed.

LOL Painkiller the track itself is 1 of my all time faves :)
it rox of the chart :)
all out no holes barred metal.
I use to jump of my bed air guitaring to that track lol (should I have mentioned that?) :)
I agree that visions is better, geees what a voice the old Rob still has :)
It doesn't blow me away like priest use to do, I think thats due to it sounding similar to what they already have done in the past.
Love priest tho, someone has to fly the flag for full rock out metal, and I think they still do that.
stay cool
