Yes!! Its the wrong way around!

The fretboard is decent wood but its painted darker instead of using a dark wood finish. Played fine straight off the shelf. If it falls apart in a year at least Ill have a relic ;)

not a gibby person, but i woudnt mind one of them for $100!
great quality for pennies.

Is it a through neck construction ? . Also those pick-ups look identical to the ones fitted on my friends China Ibanez Jem (see pic ) . I suppose the whole range is produced from the same pot .

I did read somewhere that nearly all of the bits are ex Korean Epiphone stock . If so well thats good news too .

Those chinese JEM´s completly BLOW!!! They dont have....uuhhmm...well, on spanish is "ALMA" (soul?) That iron stick inside the neck, those chinese JEM´S lack that part. The FRose system completly sux too.... dontwaste your money on that...of course if you want to waste your money then do it...or if you wanna show off using that fancy copy instead of drop jaws with your playing ;)

Nice bro and sounds great too! Do they have a web site? I would buy one just for the fact that it's $100.00. Invest a few bucks into it,..ike pups and shit like that and you got yourself a nice guitar!

I suppose a guitar being primarily wire and wood, if you can get the wire and the wood cheap, and a craftsman who will work for £30 a month, you have a decent guitar. Certainly looks and sounds like a dream! Nice playing there also mate...really nice stuff.

Try typing in 'Gibson Les Paul Replica' into google and you'll come across a few sites.

I dont agree with selling fakes as 'real gibsons' but Im not totally against the fakes either. Ive given enough money to Gibson and Fender already...I can't be supporting much of an evil empire with $100 when it costs me $100 to fill a car tank legitimately. It makes you at least understand what you're paying for in a real Gibson. Is $4000 really worth it when a bunch of chinese dudes in a factory can do this for $100?

The Ibanez's are nowhere near as good and unfortunatelty have some really awful finishes and the cheap floyds. The Les Paul's and Fenders they seem to be getting much better at and Ive heard from a few people its ex epiphone employees who are making these and they are able to do so in high tech factories so the finishes are always pretty decent. The mahogany is excellent so it could well be offcuts/2nds? The electronics are crap though but Im going to try changing out the pots and installing a set of Seth Lovers pickups into it and see how it goes.

I might go and buy a butterscotch telecaster with black pickguard for $80 and relic it. Muhahaha
