Hi Y'all,
here's a bit of work in progress so to speak..I didnt want drums on it but i'm now thinking of mic'ing up my foot tapping the floorboards to give it a "Folky/old blues jug band vibe!"...I decided to stand about 4 ft from the mic & walk towards it singing the "Aaaahs" to get a sweeping type effect..as i say i aint sure what to do with this one yet!..any comments would be helpful!
Cheers

Well i think this is brilliant Mac , and composed in such a short timescale ? . Im sure you have a sweatshop attic full of immigrants compiling these tunes for you while your down the pub !
Whatever lovely lyrics and as usual poignant and catchy . Another track completed . 4 more to go !

Again, this is a quality song. Love the vocals and how the Aarrrrs sweep through (reminds me of something the stones did years ago). Another great tune:bowdown:

I've got some catching up to do with your tracks Mac. I was thinking I wasn't going to enjoy this because I know you've done a lot of spoken stuff based on life stuff and I absolutely loved the very first one because it 'spoke' to me on a 'getting older' level and seeing what the young 'uns are doing to kill each other and choke the life out of communities...but I think an album full of it wouldn't appeal to me (just being honest). But this is superb. The 'ahhhs' as other have said are sublime and such a great technique to get the result. I'm sure 'Pet Sounds' was recorded with a similar technology! Having done 4 years as a welder at ICI, I get the sentiment. I think your voice is superb and the melody of the tune so easy on the ear...it just works well. I LIKE! :thumb:

Damn, you and Naifuzan sure make the best fast food music around here for sure! :wtf: (in a good sense that is, just in case). 2 hours, thatīs me tuning a guitar and maybe strumming a chord. Anyway, I loved it. :woot:
