Nicley done JPF i dont think i have heard you sing yet.Very strong first entry. If this is how all the entry's are going to be i am glad i don't have to vote on this one!
Keep the entry's comming guy's and remember that you can create your own version of this Clapton Classic as well.

I might have a try to this myself aswell , not really much a Clapton fan but hell its for fun and to make the numbers up , lol actually i might get to test out me new amp/machine for vocals , mind you i agree with Tony about John(JPF) , i mostly sing on my own stuff but if i want it actually sounding pro and in key , John is the fella for the job :D
I will take a listen to everyones once im done with mine :)

Woahh, 2 different but awesome entries. Both of you have set a massive bar here. JPF and Dallas make sure you don't scare the good people. Great listens.:woot: :woot:

Great start this month guys, between JPF's fantastic vocal and Dallas's fine bluesy "noodles" I have no idea what I could do to compete here  Will have a shot if I get time tho, way behind with other stuff at the mo. Two excellent takes here guys, be proud!

Well, guess i'll jump in first here. Just again, another excuse to play a bit!! Did a rythm over the one on the backer, then just noodled a solo on the first solo section, then an out solo. Oh yea, also did a vocal....anyway, there ya have it!!!:tard:
This is bloody class Jpf ! . Your a silent enemy for sure . Top singing . top playing . ............ Well done you :) :) :)

I just took a listen to the entries here (and added my own), and I gotta say those are 3 very strong entries so far!
JPF: Killer vocals as always! And the guitar playing was top notch as well.
Dallas: Cool clean tone ya got there. Very rootsy. Cool ending too, took me by surprise ;)
Bluesplayer: Great guitaring! Lotsa cool stuff going on.

This is building up nicely this month innit :D Great playing from Art, and a nicely different take on it from Per. I am trying to think of something different to do on it myself, always assuming I get time. Going to very difficult to decide on a winner I think.

Tonight i had a chance to sit down and listen to the new enrtys. And i am so impressed, i mean really impressed!! with how well all you guy's are doing with this song.
Naif had me dripping with bayou sweat after listening to the great slide and harp work. And Steves version had all the grit and energy of a Neil Young concert.Really good stuff you guys. Two very different takes on this classic song.
also had a listen back to the first entrys too. Dallas with his great blusey Texas style and tone and JPF's slick rocky version Miami style, and Blues Player with some very hot & tasty blues run's ala Robben Ford.
all top notch high quality stuff!.
Great going.
