Creating A Midi (with Count In) From Guitar Pro for a Backing Track

1) Open the Guitar Pro file and select the drum track.

2) Make sure you have selected the first bar in the file of the drum track. Press CTRL + INSERT twice. This adds two empty bars to the beginning of the file. This is where we'll insert the count in.

3) Select the half note symbol (circled in red) and add 2 closed hi-hats (42) to the first bar of the tab (drum track). Well, I use hi-hats; you can use whatever you want, it's just a count in to help get you started.
