I would like to buy one. I let one go about two years ago for the Podxt, but I need to sell the Pod, and would like to go V-amp2 for the "quick and go" factor, in addition to returning to mic'ing live.

Sellers...? What you got...what you want for it? :)

Hi there mate. There's usually loads of these on e-bay, going really cheap. Don't know if you have tried there first yet ?

I toyed with the idea of getting one of these at one point to practise with, and in the end found a spare power cable for the xt, and that sorted me out. Easier for me to unplug xt and move it and connect it downstairs with the spare power cable.

Anyway, that doesn't help you and your current predicament.

Hope everything sorts itself out !

Try Kenny (eamon7) 3-F.

I know he DID have a 'spare' ... but may have moved it on since ... anyway, can't hurt to ask.

Thanks guys.

You know...I swear when I started this thread, EBAY had only 4 or 5 and they were all at $89.00. Now I see that EBAY is loaded. I bid on one today that sold for 52.50. My final bid (all just cause I felt EVH would like it was $51.50).

But I will keep trying. At those prices the V-amp pro seems better for about $125. There is no way that PODxt is going to fetch any money, but for me, I just miss the tones of the v amp-2 and the ease of "plug and go." I do still plan to use real amps and mic them. I have 3 tube amps I have managed to hold on to (Giller 6 watt Plexi, 74 Marshall JMP, 2 4x12 cabs - 1 with old Celestion G12H@55hrz originals) and a 65 Fender Princeton Reverb). Bout time I put those to better use.

Cheers guys and thanks once again.
