I've been at it again:naughty:
This time I'm showing the type of sounds you can get from amplitube Metal, which is a must to own:bowdown: For the clean sound it was my les paul, using a clean amp setting on metal amp..The guitar solo was using the 5150 emulation amp and my strat. The bass was using gtr 3 on a supertube bass setting, which is far better than amplitube ampeg in my opinion:) ,using my vintage p- copy.the drums are ez-drummer.This is a very rough idea I strung together this evening and i may eventually change it into a song ,If i can be arsed:duh:
If anybody wants amplitube metal, let me know and I will post it:cheers:
Oh by the way none of the guitars where eqed at all in nuendo!!! This is what the amps sound like.

Very powerful, Great tone on the guitar. Love the fretless bass. It's definitely something to work on and finish.

Great  guitar lippy full dripping reverb on your solo just like it would sound comming out the fronts through the board. The song its self sounded very Zepplinish in its structure.BIG BMf sound out of amplitude:bowdown: .

first off killer solo. i have the amplitube metal and messed around a bit but haven't used it for recording yet. i have been looking around for something heavy to use it on and just haven't found the right project. i see i now have to look harder. that was some killer tone there

amps sound pretty good, i like the song though :) i thought it had a wishbone ash swing to it.
definitely needs developing further!

Thanks for the replies lads:yourock: As I said this is a little bit of doodling but I think it might make a good song after some tweaking.:) I've got to admit though ,that 5150 emulation is amazing for solos considering it's a fender gold lace sensor in the strat, which is more of a vintage sound than a rock sound, and this amp setting made it sound like a bright humbucker.Very handy program for those late night sessions when you can't mike up your amp.

Fantastic sounds and playing Lip's... the solo tone was so thick and expressive, just the sort of lead sound I like. Loved some of those bends and runs, defo a good idea for a full blown song with lyrics, better get to work mate. :thumb:
Very nice work so far.

Great stuff mate, and definately worth making into a full song, it has a great feel to it, and shows Amplitude in a great light aswell, i used the original Ampli sometime ago and quite liked it, i know alot of folks like Guitar Rig over it, but i still think its a great little program, and it sounds like the Metal version is rocking too :)
Great playing on all fronts, look forward to hearing the full version too :thumb:

Yep theres definately a killer song in there! Great tones as said and if you hadn't said that you played the solo with a strat i would have automatically thought you had played it with your Les Paul. Cool 'slidy' bass line too mate. Hope we get to hear the finished song  Mint mate!
