Ah this is what i wanted to hear . Your notes ringing on and leaving gaps where amp and pick noise come into view . I do like that . I enjoyed the listen mate and i hope you do well !:)

Just went through and listened to everybodys entry's.And also thanks for the kind comments from you all.:)

Great Stuff! Mark, Steve,Naif,Mart. All great entrys with well thought out and concise solo structures.

Very interesting to hear all the different fingerprints left on each entry. All seem to have their own voice and style. Its really hard to discern if guys are using modelers or tube amps that's how good the quality has become.Really enjoyed them all....Very Very tuff crowd this month!.

Listening to these ones now. Great stuff all of ya. Thought I'd try to give some thoughts on each entry.

Eamon: That was some great playing. A few pauses inbetween the notes might have been nice, even if that might not be your thing ;)
It's good to see you trying to restrain yourself tho.

Parker: Loved those bends! Some very cool turnarounds too. Lovely blues playing.

Bahamut: Good to hear ya play the blues, man! Great restraint in your playing too.

Macman: Love the tone, and the playing was bluesy to the core. Sounded pretty Peter Greenish to my ears.

Steve: I love it! Very nice tone, and great restrained playing.

i finally found time to check the songs out. not suprised by anybody as i knew you all would do this well. and you did. you all captured the feel and the necessary tone of the blues and used all the patented blues licks showing how well you understand the blues. you can tell in my entry that i don't know the blues well. basically a rock guitarist playing blues licks but never feeling it. as for you guys i don't know how anybody will be able to pick a winner. all the entrys so far are winners

Kenny, may not be "trad" blues playing but sounded pretty damm good to me! Come live with my lot for a while and you will get the feel real fast

Steve: I love it! Very nice tone, and great restrained playing.

That's not restrained mate, it's as fast as I can go

Ahh, two new entries!

Jeffrey: Cool old school clean tone. Could be a little bit more held back in some places to fit the theme of the contest maybe, but kickass playing nonetheless.

Tony: Been a while since I listened to ya just jam some blues. Great to hear it again. It did sound pretty drunk at times, but it was a very nice listen.

Yep .. it's hotting up :D

JBL ... loved that clean tone! Great blues playing too.

Tony ... I have forgotten what sex is like, that's why I play the blues  Another great entry, drunk or not!

Gonna be real hard to choose from this lot. :boobies:

Parker sounds dam good , His playing reminded me of the guy who used the Telecaster . Black guy . I think he gigged with Clapton a few times .

I was unsure about this idea but now i think its working out great . This way of playing leaving gaps is superb ! .

Steve G-Sounds awesome cleaner tone, wicked vibrato
Naif-as always amazing phrasing I always love your playing-the tone you used was cleaner than I usually hear from you kind of a clapton sounding thing
Macman-holy crap! sounds like you've been playin the blues forever man, everything the song calls for is there :dj:
Eamon-I not suprised at your entry-it's kind of like George Lynch trying to play a blues, but you have one of the most vicous tones and vibrato techniques here.
