Rock looks like it’s about to get another high profile reunion – The Faces are reportedly in talks to tour AND record new material.

The Sun reports that Ronnie Wood and Rod Stewart were spotted in a London restaurant last week discussing the long talked about reunion.

One of those trusty tabloid sources was quoted as saying “Ron and Rod had a great time reminiscing. They were having a laugh and a joke but there is still a serious hunger to get back in the studio. There are plans for the band to start recording in the autumn with a tour in the pipeline for this winter.”

Talk of a Faces reunion has been circulating with increasing regularity over the past twelve months, and both Ronnie Wood and Rod Stewart have spoken to different publications about their openness to the idea.

When asked, a spokesman for Ronnie Wood remained tight lipped on the subject.

In his autobiog he talks warmly and positively about him and Stewart getting together . The Stones will always be there for him , and i think this understanding is what makes them tick .

This is gonna happen .

Why Not.
Rod Stewart still has the pipes to pull it off unlike Mick who's voice lately sounds like its just about run out of gas.

This is one reunion i would deff want to see. Providing all the orig members would be involved.

Sadly the late & great Ronnie Lane won't be able to make the reunion.
Not sure if Tetsu Yamauchi i(Ronnie's replacement the first time round) is still alive either.

I think The Faces was always Rod and Ron . Ron did play Bass as well as rhythm and lead on a lot of the tracks anyway , including Maggie Mae .
