I am weaning away off the PODxt and going back to Mic'ing my amp.
Found this canned backing and used an old Fender Princeton Reverb and an old Les Paul and an old (geez it's all old gear come to think of it)..SM-57 right on the cone. I like the tone. The playing aint all there yet. :) Thanks.

the tone is delicious, smoky blues/jazz club vibe...some great runs and licks in here very fusion'ish, you show great speed and dexterity mate...I loved it a lot...
Has a real Louisiana New Orleans vibe to whole recording actually...I can imagine walking down Bourbon St and hearing this echoing from a club:bowdown:

Agree with Macman 100%, some smokey blues club vibe here! I think this is the 1st solo guitar stuff ive heard from you Serg. Lovely tone and sweet playing.

Serg, your noodlings are like my best jams! :bigcry: You definitely got a great collection of licks and knowledge of your scales. You should make a video to sell about getting the best tones, because that is one of your specialties. This is relaxing, sunday-around-the-house music at its finest!

Thanks guys for listening and commenting. I was hesitant to post this because it's nothing compared to the talent I hear on this site and in particular, this section. But I do love to play and I hope to do that more and spend less time on trying to do vocals. Cheers to you all. :thumb:

Sweet jazzy tone! Great playing too. Always great to hear ya play, we do get to little of that, even if I like everything you do vocally too.

May I say, sir, fuck you. Did you read my lips? (Ok, my typing, grrrrr!). I wish I had 1/10000 the talent you have on those strings man. MMMMhmmm, those octaves ala mr. Wes Montgomery sounded killer man. :dj:

Excellent Jam 3fingers, the playing is outstanding. I don't think you can beat a fender amp for getting a tone like this. Loved the Jazz/Blues feel and its a great backer as well, you'll have to share that one out Bro :).
Really enjoyed this. 5 star playing.
Total sweetness.....treat on a rainy sunday morning.

TGIF and I know what I'll be listening to again tonight while I'm prepping dinner for the grill and sipping my beer after work is through. Tone, playing and the whole package. You don't give yourself nearly enough credit playing guitar or singing, but I guess it's a characteristic that also makes ya one of the nicest guys around! Great stuff, thanks for the mood music for tonights BBQ.

Loved this piece 3Fingers! Seriously sultry vibe, with lovely touch and vibrato front and center. Some nice runs, that seemed to touch on some Larry Carlton-like phrasing, yet were distinctly original. Wonderful sense of your changes and just a deft and facile way of moving around the fretboard w/ a gliding ease. Exceptional playing throughout man! What a great listen...

Sweet tone and smooth playing. You should never be ashamed of that bro. Keep the soul in your playing. SOme of those riffs did remind me of Carlton but also the speed and caramel smothness of Alvin Lee. If you couls bottle this you could sell it like hot cakes man. LOVE IT.
