The members of Bon Jovi have slammed touts after tickets for their free Central Park show started appearing for sale on the internet.
Tickets for the free show in New York, which takes place on 12 July, had been snapped up pretty much immediately when they were offered to fans last week, but now various ticket websites are offering fans the chance to go for prices ranging from $24 - $1000.
A post on the Bon Jovi website was apparently uploaded and then removed. It supposedly read “There are reports in the media about tickets being scalped for... the free concert. I for one am not surprised, but our organisation is sorely disappointed,” adding “no good deed goes unpunished”.
