I got a midi backer for this track and replaced crud sounding midi instruments for better samples and recorded and mixed all the guitars myself.. Bearman contacted me and said his missus ( Nightangel ) would do vocals and Laurie did the business, no mistake. Big thanks to Barry for giving the drums a bit more balls and mixing in the singing.

I love the original and hope you like this cover , mucho props to barry and laurie for their hard work.

Great cover, i'm a big fan of Crow, and this is a really great song i have very fond memories of, so i was lovely to hear it covered so well.
TK, the guitars and backer sound great, and the vocals are excellent Laurie, really enjoyed it, 5 :thumb:

Absolutely superb, I love the crystal clear and pro mix on this the guitars are shining through wonderfully. Very well placed in the mix those guitars and blends with Laurie's voice just great. :dj:

Lovely track is this and i do think Sheryl Crow is a great musician , great work on the midi and the guitars TK , everything flowed nicely throughout the song and ofcourse with Laurie on vocals you know you can't go far wrong , she did fantastic on this and really captures Crow's essence on the song :)

I'll make sure she checks the board when she get's home from work. I told Jimmy this before, but his guitars sound great on this track, just blew me away when he said he used a Roland Micro-Cube amp!

Really great teamwork on this. The mix is really full and clean with a capital C. This really stands on its own. Laurie's individuality as a singer stands out and it just has a extremely pure, musicality about the mix. The guitars are mixed in very organically. This will be looped here for a while!!

Its as obvious to me as a kick in balls that lauries voice will be in its optimum zone with more uptempo material, if somebody gave her a backer of bonnie tyler`s I need a hero, then I think the finished product would be simply as good as it gets.

I dont think the balladic slow stuff is her forte, its like there is a line she crosses and the V8 engine comes to life within her. Somebody give her a backer of Bette Davis eyes by Kim Carnes, my mouth would be drooling over that proposition.
