Hey all you musicians !!

it's starting to get frustrating out there in "Cyberspace" :maddance:

first the MPA shut down the powertab archive
it's in the stages of being "changed to a bastardized advertised site(which will only last as long as they have advertising)

don't get me wrong something is better than nothing,

however now one of my favorite guitar oriented sites has been shut down,

RIP jemplugged blogspot!!

As one goes down, another will show up. The MPA is just wasting their time. You can't stop the internet. I haven't been able to get on Magesy for a few days either

On a recent thread I remember hearing of this site. I went to it one time and then they shut down. :( Bummer. It looked great!

Yes, sadly i noticed this too. I used to check it every day. But it kind of slowed down the last month or so (not updated very often). About 8 months ago, Pod God recommended the one below and it is way better than Jemplugged! Way more posts per day and lots of variety. Check through the Archives, there is tons of stuff on this site!!!

The problem with these big companies is that they fail to see the benefits of web sites which offer up software music and information . Its free advertising for them and hitting exactly the right people . You tube are also getting it in the ear from the big greedy monsters .Copyright infringement etc . Again they are failing to see the whole picture .

This blindness pisses me off .

I know www.guitarbt.com received a solicitors letter from Steve Vai's people saying they must take down. What really irritates me is that it's only the fans that want to play to his stuff and they are chastised for it. I think it is crass to stop people from trying to copy their hero. What fucking harm does it do except promote the guy who they are trying to emulate?

How Do I Get An Invite To Guitar Trade ???
or how can i contact the admin or anyone from this blog ?
used to be there every day

wow, I haven't been to that site in along time, and your right it used to be you could check out the guitartrade blog, not anymore,

I never really used their services because you had to have like a premium rapidshare account, and I'm not much of a fan of rapidshare,

I was much more disappointed when Jemplugged closed down, because whoever owned that site, helped me out alot, and because of the way they had the blog setup I was never able to thank those musicians/person's personally or appropriately..

nevertheless, now I would like to be a part of the guitartrade blog(if someone's a member or knows of another blog that is similar), not only so I can keep in touch with cool musicians who share, but also to help other musicians out.

so please if someone has an invite, please let me know who to contact, so I can ask them to be part of their community, just like at Guitarblast, Thanks
