Based on the first track of ‘Vinyl confessions’ , the eighth studio album, and ninth album overall, by American rock band Kansas, released in 1982 & also the first song of John Elefante as the front man after Steve Walsh left the band.
I sang & played on the backing track I made from MIDI. Just hope you like it.

i'm quoting this rather than typing all that.lol.
totally agree. nice job. i also like chasing shadows from that album. this song got a lot of radio play. elefante is a great singer. i don't think a lot of people liked the idea that he replaced steve walsh and didn't give him a chance. i wonder where he is now. i saw kansas last fall and they still do this song only steve walsh sings it now....anyway again nice job sol. man you sure have a huge range

Damn, that's scary close to the original!! Great job all around Sol, vox were excellent!! Love to hear you cover "Fight Fire With Fire". Elefonte really streches his vocal chords on that one. 5***** on this one though.

Mindblowing!! Your vocals are strong and sound fantastic. The harmonies are just killer! You have a great range and tone on your singing. Always a pleasure to hear. Also great to hear you playing guitar. Playing/tone was perfect. I think it's a super impressive job.

This is great Sol. I remember this album well but I defected with Steve Walsh and the brilliant 'Streets' album he did with ex City Boy guitarist Mike Slamer  (try and have a listen to his Steelhouse Lane stuff as well as the Seventh Key album he did with Kansas bassist Billy Greer...both excellent).
I thought the midi violin sounded very good considering how they can sound! Did you use some string patch? Good work here. 5 star!

Not only were the harmonies spot on with this one, tight and close, which is VERY hard to do. But the guitar tone was spot on too.
