This thing is way cheap, has a tonne of effects and for me was an easy way to get some more way out sounds into my pedalboard. Hope you can check it out!

Hey Mark! Yeah I almost bought the George Lynch one too but it was more expensive and had more traditional sounds I can sort of get with my equipment. It has some great dark metal and lead shred tones though but I figured the John5 had all these weird wacky effects I could use during jamming without lugging around my podxtl. Most of my other pedals are fairly straight forward. I ordered John5's instructional dvd so when that arrives hopefully I can learn some more chickin pickin'.

The ball chair is a fake too!

Like the idea of a unit that will give you some wierder settings. The autowah seems to be a big feature in a lot of the presets. I have a few wierer ones for the XT I've made up...one in particular called 'Strawberry Field Madness'! and there's a few with the built-in whammy pedal I'll have to post up. There were some great settings there Paul as well as some nice playing. Good stuff.

Nice video. I have the Zoom 505 II (Dont use it as much now I have the PODXT). It sounds like this pedal was the basis for the John5 and he's tweaked it. A lot of the settings sound like my 505.

Thanks for posting this, made me remember I still have the 505 for a lot of funky effects. I think I'm gonna use it as a vocal pedal too.
