Yet another new attempt at this one. It seems like everytime i try it it isnt quite as good as i feel i can get it. but i'll keep going until i nail it that's for sure. Nail it as in it all sounds spot on. not nail it as in play it note for note like YJM... that would be absurd LOL... Here's the latest one though :).

Danny I know you and I haven't always seen eye to eye when it comes to music and I usually don't care much for Malmsteen but I must say you have skill, soul and style. Nice job on this one.:thumb:

This is very clean, you have a great vibrato in your playing and gracefully bend into your notes . Great post!

Yo Jim, Thanks for dropping by. Anyone ever told you you look exactly like Hollywood Hulk Hogan ?... bizzarre. :thumb: lol thanks mate. Appreciate it.
*buggers off to bed at last*
Man, this composition and style sounds a lot like Marty Friedman’s solo album stuff! I agree with RiffAddict…there is no denying you have skills and have spent a lot of time jammin’ that six-string, bud! Definitely an impressive display of speed and technique. I don’t know the original, so I can’t make any comparisons to it. But I wouldn’t worry about it. :)

No not at all !!! Schenker is brilliant tooooo. I was refering to the tone of the guitar . The scales and licks are Malmsteen esque but the tone for me is Schenker.

I don't know how you do it! I'm good for about 6 bars when it comes to playing solos but you can pull off an entire song like this with total ease! Beautiful!

Aww man, too kind. Thanks Mate. I think that when you start learning a certain "flow" to your own sort of playing it becomes second nature. I repeat myself as much as the next guy but subtle nuances can help everything i think. You just gotta let go and fly with it i reckon. :thumb:

Danny it's scary how you have fast become a monster player. You have got a great sound and technique, and get that Malmsteen sound without sounding too much like him if you know what I mean.

Great vibrato, great bends, great picking technique, dammit, it's great all over!
ps. I like the "pup switching" (very YJM & Blackmore). The sound when you switched to the neck pup really sounded like Yng! Cool!
