Well guys, its Poll time, we've had a record breaking month of entries, and the quality of them is the best i've heard tbh, i honestly haven't a clue who is going to win this month, because every entry deserves too, and huge credit to everyone who's entered, and made this month something special

Now, you can find all entries for this months comp here: August Entry Thread (http://www.guitarblast.com/showthread.php?t=9505)
And you're simply voting for the entry you like the most, the poll will run for 7 days from today, its a public poll so all votes can be seen by everyone, the entrants are listed in the order they entered.

Best of luck to you all :thumb:

I have no idea who to vote for  Have listened to them all as they were posted, but will need to do so again at least once ... marathon session  Will get it done later and try to make up my mind. Awesome month, well done all who entered, and Jamie and Mart for putting it all together! :yourock:

I have just spent far too long listening to all the entries, trying to choose. Eventually got it down to three, then two, then stalled  Eventually went for Naif, as his entry was the one that "did it" for me the most. Really hard decision this month, I have never spent this long making up my mind. Outstanding month, hope it keeps up like this on the new system :thumb:

Well, I've listened to them all and must say there are some excellent versions both fast and slow. I have two favourites, one is fast and one is slow and I personally think there should be two polls as they are two very different tunes, even though the BT is technically the same but slower.

My fast vote goes to Sadge, absolutely loved that, really stuck in my head for ages and superb playing. My slow favourite is Mart's (Bahamuts) very expressive and loved the tone and melodies in this. But if I can only pick one, then so be it. "Sadge, I choose you!", sorry for making you sound like a pokemon LOL. :)

Great comp guys, SteveG, I thought yours was very entertaining too, made me laugh alot!, hope that was the idea mate!.

It did cross our minds :) but its always hard to know how many ppl are going to enter, and as it happens we could of easily had two comps this month, which is great to see, but by then the decision had already been taken, but its definately something we'll bare in mind for the next D.I.Y comp :thumb:

Hell, this is haaard! So many great entries, and only one vote. After careful consideration I've decided to cast my vote for Mulletman!

This was a very difficult task as there was so much originality going on. I must say though that a few of the tracks really stuck out more than the others..... i narrowed my field down to 3.
For letting your freak flag fly i give you my vote Mulletman.

very difficult choice I did enjoy them all very well.

I went with Bahamut as he has the tone and vibe I aspire to. I thought he had a refined almost Fusion sound going on that blended with the track just lovely.

Phew.... awesome this month guys from everyone.

This was damn hard to pick but I had to vote for Sadge. Many moons down the line i want to write something like this! Killer groove, awesome melodic hooks and the ability to call on technical skills were needed. If i could i'd frame it!

Well done guys enjoyed every last second of everyones entries.

great entry's by everyone

Bahamuts caught my attention though with his nice use of Vibrato and Trem work.He showed excellent control over the sustained feedback as well.Johnny and Steve deserve points for singing and writting words for these tunes as well.Steve's hypnotic "Vote For Me" just about worked on me.
There were some great technical entrys too like Jeffery and Sadge's use of different chords and scales.
Mulletmans entry was dreamy and the idea of using the wah as the singing voice was perfect for his tune.

Great comp guy's and thanks agian to Avalon and Bahamut for providing these two great backers.:)

Well as some of you may know i don't actually vote in the comps (as to not affect the outcome etc), but this month it would of been so damn hard to pick any of you apart, because the quality of all the entries is just fantastic, it's really been a pleasure listening to them all these last few weeks, and whoever wins, you guys have al made this month a very memoriable one :yourock:

As Heatwave once said; "Mind blowing decisions, causes head on collisions."

I managed to narrow it down to nine ;), but with such variety on offer, choosing one from nine was a toughy. Top stuff from all entrants and nice to have so much choice. Kudos to Parker for the use of a talk box and to Ukelele for his counting prowess. Also a big thanks to Naif for blessing my ears with some sonic velvet - your tone and playing through the mellow sections of your tune are awesome.

Much like Highlander, there can be only one and my vote goes to Sadge for a fantastic thematic tune, with cracking melodies and a brilliant flow to the composition. Me like lots. :D

P.S. Thank you for the votes guys. :D

looks like i'm not going to pick the winner. after listening to all of them i decided that mulletman had the most interesting, johnny had the coolest vocal one, was going to vote for the vai style of mart untill i heard jeffs. to be honest i liked them all but jeff's monster shredding just appealed to me as i would have done the same thing on this song. i had planed to do one but just didn't have the time. this has to be the best collection of different ideas ever done here. every song was a winner this month
