Hi everyone , i know we missed August with the Gb anniversary Jam , so i was thinking what can we do for Sep's jam , i was talking to Justin(Axe2grind) about some neoclassical jams but i know theres only afew of us who actually play that genre , so i thought well why not have like a nice fast paced Metal/Rock jam this month :headbang:
Its not pure Neoclassical, however it does offer the chance to let all hell loose out on the strings but also it can work for playing tasty rock/metal licks aswell :devilchil:
Hopefully it will be enough to please either crowd :) , the bt itself is a really cool bt with some sweet rhythm guitaring , i found it the other day when i was looking about for some decent improv bts to practice to , i got this and agood few others which should make excellent jams for future jamming :)
So here are the slots and there times , let me know which slot you want as normal ,

Slot 1: start - 0:49 - Bahamut
Slot 2: 0:49 - 1:37 - Khelbanzon
Slot 3: 1:37 - 2:08 - Axe2grind
Slot 4: 2:08 - 2:57 - Stereophony
Slot 5: 2:57 - End - Avalon

Reserves Bench:

This track is hard to split up , i could of got 4 slots with about a min each but i thought it wasn't enough slots so i split it into 5 slots in the end , with the last slot slightly longer then the others :D
Once you come to the end of your parts , try not to let your parts drag over into the next slot as the change to one slot to another is mighty tight :devilchil:
Pm me your parts once your done , then i'll mix it all :banana:

Oh it will be a while yet mate, in an ideal world i'll have a 24 fret Ibanez before i start recording :lol: , but either way i got some practicing to do as yet, but its coming along :).

Like you say though, unless you're geared up, they just think you can't play, and its the same on other sites i've seen too, its just stupidity at its greatest, and why i don't have alot of time for ppl who claim to be masters lol, its the quiet ones you wanna learn from :)

Theres constructive critisism which is cool, for example my bends suck big time and if people tell me so then thats cool, i just need to try harder. A friend of mine always says that some people just say things to have a voice even if its a load of bull. In your case it is a load of bull.... Idiots. (Did i say that already?)

I used to be like that too a few years ago, but these days i know my strengths and weaknesses far better, so i know when something said is on the money, or when its just total BS, like i think alot of us do once we reach a certain stage.

Like Andy said, some ppl just have to have 'their say', because they under the impression it means jack, and i think in someways forums almost encourge it, because there is a certain safety blanket about having a (minimum in most cases) few hundred miles of phoneline between them and the person they are insulting, and most aren't as chatty in person :lol:

Obviously ill try and get it done as soon as possible, but GO ON THEN ill take the slot. If you need it done quickly then you maybe better off calling up one of the strikers off the bench.:)

Just sent out the first mix to all of you lads , sounds excellent altho im not to happy with my part , testing out my new single coil pup but it sounds quite thin (probably the setting i used) compared to my humbucker tones :naughty:
Will have to use a thicker sounding amp model with it next time me thinks :banana:
