Original Master Tracks BT's

My days of making BT's from midis are numbered !!!...What with all these 'Original Master tracks' popping up on the net...i just wanna let you know that... I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH MAKING THESE BT's !!! My only contribution was mixing the tracks plus adding a 'count in intro' where & when needed...Anyways , first up is 'In Bloom' by 'Nirvana' (Drums & Bass)...Have quite a collection (mostly 'Metallica' & 'Lamb Of God' so far) so i'll post some more periodically...ENJOY !!!...

Didn't have to do anything at all to this one as it was already 'Drums & Bass'...Geddy Lee is awesome , and you really appreciate his playing MORE when there's no guitars...Here's 'Malignant Narcissism'...

This guy (Chris Adler) is absolutely amazing...even if you don't LIKE 'Lamb Of God' you should check out this guy's drumming !!!...Here's 'Again We Rise'...(Drums & Bass)...

This one was actually quite a bit of work...the two tracks (Drums & Bass) were out of sync , so i had to MAKE the two tracks in sync...also added the original guitar intro at the start...here's 'On A Plain'...

Where are you getting these original masters??? I would love to get my hands on some of these files!

Most of the new masters popping up, believe it or not, are from guitar hero and rock band.

they rip the dvd's audio with the guitars and often the vocals taken out.

I've been trying to figure out how to do it from the new guitar hero game but macs don't work as well as pcs

some of these were made before though

and some can be made with audio equipment (but usually they don't turn out as well)

i'm not saying that's where these ones came from, but a lot of master come from those games

I've got a couple where you can tell it's the real band without the guitar...Bon Jovi is one of them and I remember reading they were taken from Guitar Hero and they had a funny extension name...can't remember what tho but they played with media players such as VLC. Can't remember the site I got them from either.

I'm aware of that , but thanx for sharing the info anyway...some are also from limited edition CD's...you get bonus 'Backing' tracks...this is the case with the 'Rush' one i posted , and also most of the 'Lamb Of God' one's i've obtained.

Sorry if i was a bit cryptical before...YouTube , plus there are also some Torrents available of Multi-Track masters.

I was just answering KCARs question of where a lot of the master backings come from

I did say some were made before guitar hero

I know a lot come from those CD's I didn't know what the CD's are called. I usually get them with music books.

Here's 'Vasoline' (Drums & Bass)...Just added a 'fade in' on this one...when playing along i just do a volume swell till the first riff...

Here's 'Leave That Thing Alone' (Drums Only)...Neil Peart here is awesome...awesome track too , especially a live version of the song i have...Was unable to find a 'Geddy Lee' bass only master track for this one...if you know of one that's available please let me know...Alternatively i could produce the other instruments (Bass & Keys) from a midi and mix them to the original drums...let me know if you'd like me to do this...
